This Dracaena prefers low light but will adapt to moderate and bright indirect light. It's best to keep it out of bright direct light as this will cause the vibrant colors to fade over time and eventually burn the foliage.
Like most Dracaenas, the Lemon Lime likes to be on the drier side. We advise to dry it out between waterings. Brown tips and crown rot will appear over time if over watered. Brown tips will also show up if underwatered.
This is a relatively easy plant to maintain. It may be fertilized once or twice during spring through summer with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer. It enjoys high humidity which can be accommodated by misting in the morning. The tops can be pruned back for a bushier look, although this is usually unnecessary as it has a natural bushy feel. Every so often we recommend wiping the leaves down to optimize photosynthesis. It likes to fully outgrow its pot before being repotted.
