Care
Light
Ficus needs bright indirect light for best growth. Too little light will result in thin, unhealthy new growth. However, the white areas of variegated leaves are particularly vulnerable to damage, and direct sun should be avoided.
Water
Ficus triangularis enjoys frequent waterings but soil that remains soggy may cause root rot issues. It is best to always allow the soil to dry out in between waterings. Signs of underwatering included wilting and dropping leaves.
Care
Most Ficus dislike being moved or disturbed, so do not repot unless necessary. If desired, prune to encourage branching and provide a bushier look. Ficus triangularis prefers high humidity and may benefit from added humidity if available. We recommend applying a diluted general household fertilizer once or twice during the growing season.
