Care
Light
The Green Flame Fern thrives under bright indirect light. Give your plant a quarter turn every week or so for even growth. We recommend keeping your plant out of the bright direct sun, which can cause your leaflets to shed.
Water
Water the Green Flame Fern thoroughly, allowing soil to dry out a little between waterings. Water sparingly in winter, but do not allow soil to dry out completely. If the plant appears to be turning brown and droopy, it likely needs more water. While the fern can dry out to the point of appearing dead, it likely isn't. Warmer, humid air and daily misting will help revive it.
Care
The Green Flame Fern is a moderate to care for plant. Average household humidity levels should suffice but misting or a humidifier to increase humidity may benefit this plant. Keep it away from A/C ventilation that will have it dry out and have some of its leaflets shed. We recommend fertilizing every month during spring through summer with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer.
