Care
Light
Indirect light is best for strong growth of the Begonia. Too little light will weaken the growth and increase the chance of root rot or fungal issues. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
Water
When watering, it is important to avoid getting the leaves wet. One method is to let the plant absorb water through the soil from the bottom up by sitting it temporarily in a tray of water. Make sure that the top few inches of soil have been allowed to dry out in between waterings. If the soil is too dry, leaves will respond by curling and becoming crisp.
Care
Begonias require high humidity but care must be taken to avoid fungal issues that arise from water sitting on the leaves. Misting this plant is not recommended. Use a well drained soil and avoid temperatures below 65°F. Begonias can be easily propagated via leaf or stem cuttings.
