The Laurentii can handle most lighting conditions. It is ideal to have it in moderate to bright indirect light. It will tolerate lower light and artificial lighting conditions. We recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight for long periods.
Being in the succulent family, the Laurentii doesn't require much water. When in doubt, it is better to keep it on the dry side rather than wet. Too much water and soggy soil will lead to root rot and that will spoil all your fun.
This is an invulnerable plant and requires very little maintenance. Fertilize once or twice a year with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer. It handles low levels of humidity like a champ. No need for a humidifier or misting with this one. Propagation is easily done through a division of root clumps and leaf cuttings. Pests typically aren't an issue with this plant. Cool temperature or hot, no problem. The leaves can be wiped down a few times a year.
Based on a NASA® study, these are the known contaminants this plant will filter from your home's air.
