Watering:

Dieffenbachia Panther likes to be kept evenly moist, so water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. They’re pretty good at communicating their needs—if they're thirsty, the leaves will droop, but they’ll perk up quickly after watering. Overwatering can lead to yellow leaves and root rot, so let the soil dry out a bit between waterings and make sure your pot has good drainage.

Light:

Dieffenbachia Panther enjoys bright, indirect light but are also quite tolerant of lower light conditions. An east- west or north-facing window is perfect. They’re perfect for adding a touch of green to those shadier corners of your home. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can scorch their beautiful variegated leaves. If you notice the colors fading, it might be a sign they need a bit more light. Rotate your plant regularly to ensure even growth.

General Care:

• Fertilizing: Feed every 4-6 weeks during the growing season with a balanced, diluted fertilizer to encourage healthy growth. They’re not heavy feeders, so less is more.

• Pest Control: Use neem oil or insecticidal soap if you spot pests like aphids or spider mites. A quick treatment should take care of any issues.

• Repotting: Repot every 2-3 years or when it outgrows its pot, using a well-draining soil mix to prevent root rot.

• Humidity: Dieffenbachias prefer moderate humidity. They’ll appreciate a little misting now and then, especially if your home is on the dry side.

• Pruning & Propagation: Prune to remove yellow or damaged leaves and control size. You can propagate by stem cuttings or division. Simply take a cutting with a few leaves and nodes, place it in water or soil, and watch it grow!
