I'm so excited about this plant! This one made me decide to finally get into house plants. I've done pretty well with plants outside of my home but the colors of this one made me decide to give it a shot. I love how this Calathea Lancifolia opens in the morning and closes up again in the evening. It's such a cool looking plant with personality! I can't wait to get it some friends!

At first when this little plant arrived, I wasn’t blown away… it didn’t seem as full as other calatheas I’ve gotten. This plant is the most gorgeous plant I have ever purchased. I purchased it around November and it is doing great! I know they say Calatheas are difficult, but this one is not and it is not even near a humidifier. I do spritz the leaves at least twice a week and never allow it to totally dry out. It has also produce a lot of new growth. It sits alone and makes such a presence.

You can look at this handsome hardy boy and say he isn’t perfect . My friend came to visit and she just had to touch the plant because she couldn’t believe it was real.
