Care

Light

This plant thrives in bright indirect light. It will tolerate moderate indirect light and even some bright direct morning light as long as it is limited to only a couple of hours. Not enough light will slow the growth and too much direct light will burn the leaves.

Water

Once the top couple of inches are dry to the touch, give it a thorough watering allowing it to drain out of the drainage hole. Yellowing leaves are a sign of under or overwatering and the watering schedule should be evaluated.

Care

We recommend fertilizing the Monstera Adansonii monthly throughout the growing season, in spring through summer. This plant's natural habitat is the jungle where it receives high levels of humidity. We recommend keeping it near a humidifier or simply misting it in the morning. The Adonsonii can get leggy and will need to be pruned. Take off the longer vines to promote new growth and give the plant a fuller appearance. To propagate this plant, simply take stem cuttings and place them in water or directly into the soil.
