Care
Light
Peperomia Emerald Green thrives in bright, indirect light. It will tolerate low light, but growth could be slowed. This plant should not be placed in bright direct light, as its leaves will burn.
Water
Peperomia Emerald Green is a succulent plant, meaning it stores water in its stems and leaves. This plant should only be watered when the top 2”-3” of soil are completely dry. During the winter months, it can be watered more sparingly. When overwatered, the leaves will begin to wilt and root rot will occur. Wilting and dropped leaves can be a sign of underwatering.
Care
Peperomia Emerald Green is a low maintenance houseplant. It enjoys high levels of humidity, but will tolerate normal to low levels of humidity. This plant is easy to propagate from stem cuttings, and should be pruned occasionally to encourage bushier growth. We recommend fertilizing every month during spring through summer with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer.
