Anthurium Pedatoradiatum

Anthurium Fingers

** 6" plant will have 2 or more leaves. Quite different from most other Anthurium species, this variety features a divided leaf that looks a bit like the palm of a hand. Like many other plants in the Aroid family, Anthurium Fingers changes the shape of its leaves as the plant grows and matures. A young plant may only have three or five “fingers” per leaf, but a mature plant can have over a dozen on a much bigger leaf!

Care

Light

Anthurium Fingers prefers moderate indirect light. We recommend keeping this plant out of bright direct sun. Bright direct sun will burn the foliage over time.

Water

This Anthurium should be allowed to dry out somewhat between waterings. It may be watered after the top two inches of soil are dry to the touch. We would recommend to err on the side of under-watering, as opposed to overwatering Anthurium Fingers. Wilted leaves may be a sign of underwatering.

Care

This is an easy to care for plant. We recommend fertilizing this Anthurium every month during spring through summer with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer. Anthuriums are tolerant to normal household humidity levels but will enjoy a misting every once in a while. This plant should be fertilized monthly through the spring and summer with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer.
