It was a little smooshed when it first arrived but after a day or 2 in a sunny spot in my kitchen it’s quickly turned into one of my healthiest, greenest, shiniest plants (and I have a lot of plants ). I have ALWAYS wanted a Monstera & this was my pandemic treat to myself.
It arrived in a oblong, fairly narrow box, so I had doubts about how big it might be. But it was good-sized! (It's grown a bit since it came.) It was the BEST packed item I have ever received from anywhere--not over-packaged, just wisely packaged. Easy to open without hurting the plant, too.
And once unpacked, it unfurled instantly. A couple days & a big drink of water later, it widened further. (If it "cries tears" from the tips of its leaves, it's just excess water.)
I have it in a bright room but not in the direct rays of the Arizona sun & it loves it. It came with zero damage and was thriving from the get-go. It's produced several new leaves since it came & some of them are the cool perforated ones!
Very reasonable pricing too! I will definitely order more plants from you all, even when garden stores & greenhouses open back up, because the QUALITY was unbelievable. I think they'd make great gifts, especially housewarming or new business. Beats the florist!!
