Care
Light
Monstera grow best in moderate indirect light. It can tolerate low light levels, although low light may slow its growth and increase the risk of root rot. This plant should never be placed in direct sunlight, as its leaves will burn.
Water
Monstera enjoy moist but well-draining soil. The soil should be allowed to dry out in between waterings in order to prevent root rot. Overwatering can lead to yellowing leaves. Underwatering can result in wilting and dry, crispy leaves.
Care
This Monstera is typically an easy care plant that likes consistently warm conditions. It is important not to let temperatures for this plant drop below 60°F. It is normal for the older leaves of the plant to turn yellow and fall off over time, simply trim them off if desired. The plant may shed more leaves when moved to a new location but will quickly grow new leaves to replace them. This plant should be fertilized monthly through the spring and summer with a general houseplant fertilizer diluted by about half.
