Care
Light
Peace Lilies thrive in moderate to bright indirect light. To have this plant flower it needs enough light. As it tolerates lower light conditions it will unlikely flower. Too much light or any direct sunlight will burn its foliage. We suggest an east facing window for this plant.
Water
The Peace Lily enjoys moist soil. We recommend watering this plant when the top layer to an inch of soil is about dry to the touch. An under watered plant will first wilt then over time have crispy tips on the leaves. An overwatered plant will result in yellowing leaves and eventually root rot.
Care
The Peace Lily is a moderately easy plant to care for. It is not a big feeder so it only needs to be fertilized a few times during the growing season. When fertilizing we like to recommend diluting the general houseplant fertilizer to about half. It enjoys higher humidity which can be added by misting, humidifier, grouping it with other plants, or implementing a pebble tray. It can be propagated by division and shared with friends. Rotate this plant monthly to help keep even growth throughout. Wiping the leaves down monthly with neem oil will help keep the dust and pests off.
