Care
Light
This plant enjoys moderate to bright indirect light. It will tolerate lower light conditions as well. Morning sunlight is preferred as it is less intense than afternoon sunlight, but too much direct bright light will scorch the foliage.
Water
We recommend allowing the soil to nearly completely dry out between waterings. The number one sign of underwatering is drooping leaves. You can tell if you are overwatering by the leaves yellowing and falling off. Overwatering may eventually lead to root rot.
Care
This is an easy to care for plant. We recommend fertilizing once a month in spring through summer with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer. Philodendron Hope enjoys higher levels of humidity but will tolerate normal household humidity and even dryer than normal humidity levels. It wouldn't hurt to mist this plant occasionally though. Because of the trunking habit, propagation via cuttings is not recommended. Wiping down the leaves monthly will help with photosynthesis and keep the leaves nice and glossy.
