Philodendron ‘Summer Glory’ enjoys higher levels of humidity due to its velvety leaves but will tolerate normal household humidity if necessary. It wouldn't hurt to mist this plant occasionally though. Because the stems of this plant grow parallel to the ground rather than upwards, a wide pot is a good choice. Stem cuttings of this Philodendron can be taken, we recommend placing the cutting directly in soil to root rather than in water. You can fertilize every month or so during spring through summer with a normal house plant fertilizer.
